WHAT IS THE NORTHAMPTON AREA KONKRETE KIDS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION?

The Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation, established in 2009 by a group of community volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose primary goal is to support and finance innovative programs that enhance the quality of education for Northampton Area School District K-12 students.  The Foundation provides the District’s teachers and administrators with funds that are used to extend learning opportunities and co-curricular experiences for the benefit of the entire school community.

The Foundation has been able to provide over $100,000 to defray costs for students enrolled in this program.

HOW DOES THE NORTHAMPTON AREA KONKRETE KIDS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION RAISE MONEY TO FUND GRANT REQUESTS AND OTHER PROGRAMS?
